“Be anxious, for nothing, but in Everything by prayer and supplication with Thanksgiving, let your requests be made know to God.” Phil. 4:6 As we all know, these are anxious times for our world with the uncertainty of the coronavirus and its spread. We must prayerfully rely on our faith and commitment to ease our anxiety and prepare us for what lies ahead. Even though schools, businesses, and churches, etc. are temporarily, we still must maintain support for the ever present expenses incurred during the closures. We would greatly appreciate your continued support for the St. Mary’s Church through monetary donations and would suggest that any donations be mailed to the Parish Office at 1125 Ave L. Or for St Patrick at PO box 317 Akron Ia 51001.  Please note on the donation whether it is for the general collection or for the building fund. Also Peoples Bank in Hawarden and Security Bank in Akron will accept your envelopes and forward them to us. All donations are appreciated and we thank you for your continued and generous support. Please continue to include our Church family, priest, and parish staff in your prayers but also pray for all the priests, deacons, and support personnel in our diocese. We will get through this with the faith that has been instilled upon us by our Lord God.
